Dr. Sal Saleh, Au.D. CCC-A, Director of Audiology
Dr. Saleh is a New York State Licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. As a native born and raised Brooklynite he is passionate about providing comprehensive audiological care for his fellow neighbors with hearing and balance issues. Since joining the practice in 2009 he has provided care to both our pediatric and adult patients.
He attended and excelled at St. John's University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. After earning his B.A. at St. John's University, Dr. Saleh continued on to Hunter College of the City University of New York where he earned a Master of Science in Audiology. He was selected for a competitive clinical senior internship at the Brooklyn VA Hospital where he remained as a Clinical Audiology staff member post completion of his internship. He has also completed clinical rotations throughout the New York City area at Beth Israel Medical Center, Brooklyn Hospital and the Brooklyn VA Hospital. Dr. Saleh earned his Doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Florida. His clinical specialties focus on the evaluation and fitting of amplification for the adult population, as well as electrophysiolgical testing and vestibular assessment. Dr. Saleh also specializes in establishing individualized aural rehabilitation treatment plans for patients fit with hearing aids. He is an active and involved member in the field of audiology, regularly attending national conferences and seminars. He is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds his audiology Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Dr. Saleh is the founder of NY Audio Associates, a hearing aid dispensing clinic where he provides hearing impaired patients with state of the art digital hearing aids.
